AB. CRISTINA VALVERDE JOHNSON
ASSOCIATE
She studied Law at the University of Navarra, in Spain. From the same university, she obtained a Diploma in Economic Law and was part of the Department of Procedural Law of the University.
She continued her academic career with a masters degree in Canon Law (2014) and Social Doctrine of the Church (2013) at the Pontifical University of Salamanca, in Spain.
She was admitted to the professional practice of Canon Law by the Ecclesiastical tribunal of the Archdiocese of Guayaquil, where she concentrates her practice.
She also obtained a Postgraduate in Marriage and Family Education (2017) from the International University of Catalonia, in Spain, and a Specialization in Procedural and Matrimonial Canon Law (2018) from the University of Navarra.
Author of the book “Una Realidad Escondida: La Verdad Sobre el Aborto” (Murillo Editores, 2015) (“A Hidden Reality: The truth about abortion”).
She has also participated in courses and seminars in Lima, at the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C., at the Austral University of Argentina and La Sabana of Colombia.
